Investments in Oregon’s youngest community members give the best return on investment the state can imagine.
With support from Seeding Justice, Home Childcare Essentials is offering childcare programs start-up and expansion grants to increase the available childcare slots in Oregon. We are here to help and mentor any person interested in providing high-quality, compassionate care and love to Oregon’s future leaders.
HCE Childcare Capacity grants can be used for:
Supplies, furnishings, and materials needed for classrooms and early learning spaces
Repairs or updates to childcare spaces to home in home-based programs
Outdoor play structures, new fencing, fall surfaces, and other equipment
Up to six months of start-up funding, including wages for staff, rent and utilities
Technology and software
Insurance costs and licensing fees
We’re focusing on providing funds to home-based providers and communities where families face the greatest challenges in getting the culturally responsive care they need.
